Define the experience target
Describe the use case before choosing a component. Is the customer dispensing a small amount with one hand, applying a thicker formula, carrying the pack in a bag or using it in a shower? Note the expected dose, number of actuations, opening direction and whether the pack must remain upright. A clear target helps the packaging team select the right component and test set.
Test the filled system
